Charlene DaSilva, RCIC-IRB
Founder, Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant – IRB, Paralegal, Notary Public

Before working at Affordable Immigration and Paralegal Support in Hamilton and Toronto, Charlene graduated with Honours from Humber College in the Immigration Consultant and Paralegal program.  She is licenced by the Law Society of Ontario (LSO) as well as the The College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, proving her ability to understand the laws governing those areas of practice.

Charlene has spent many years working in the customer service industry.  This experience has fostered the necessary time management, organization and personal skills required to handle a variety of tasks and people.  Her commitment to providing excellent service and personal support has been the foundation of her career. Charlene is a Notary Public who has the ability to administer oaths and authenticate legal documents.

Zulmara DaSilva
Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant and Business Development

Zulmara is a Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant on the AIPS team. Zulmara began her professional career in the medical sales field as a Registered Practical Nurse. After many years in healthcare, Zulmara was looking for a change. After enrolling in the Immigration Consultant Program, she found her true passion for Immigration. Graduating with honours, Zulmara then went on to become a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant. Zulmara’s role at AIPS consists of Business Development and Immigration matters. Zulmara specializes in Business Immigration, specifically Labour Market Impact Assessments and the Temporary Foreign Worker Program. Zulmara is passionate about helping her clients reach their Canadian dreams.

Alexandra Ross

Alexandra Ross, RCIC-IRB

Alexandra Ross is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) with an IRB designation, proudly serving clients at Affordable Immigration & Paralegal Support (AIPS). She joined AIPS in August 2023, initially in an administrative role before transitioning into her current position as a consultant.

Alexandra earned her Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law from Queen’s University in 2025. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Dalhousie University and a Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning from the University of Canterbury. Before entering the field of immigration, Alexandra built a diverse professional background in the hospitality industry and as an educator.

At AIPS, Alexandra provides personalized guidance to individuals navigating the often-complex Canadian immigration system. With warmth, professionalism, and a deep commitment to her clients, she is passionate about helping newcomers make Canada their home and begin the next chapter of their lives in this welcoming and beautiful country.

Joseph (Yong-Taik) Kim
Licenced Paralegal, Notary Public

After receiving a B.A.  in Law in Korea, Joseph (Yong-Taik) Kim has obtained over ten years of client service and administrative experience.

Joseph graduated with Honours from Humber College in the Paralegal program, and has worked hard to prove his abilities by achieving the best possible results for his clients.

Joseph is fully fluent in English and Korean and is able to communicate in Japanese. Joseph is a Notary Public who has the ability to administer oaths and authenticate legal documents.

Yeon Kyong Jeong
Licenced Immigration Consultant

Yeon Kyong Jeong is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant with ICCRC and collaborates with AIPS Toronto.

Ms. Jeong has a Bachelor’s degree in Education and has worked as an Application Processing Assistant for years prior to becoming a Licensed Immigration Consultant.

Ms. Jeong prides herself on her attention to detail and assisting clients in their immigration goals.excellent service and personal support has been the foundation of her career.

Veruska Rosas
Immigration Case Manager, Fluent in English and Spanish

My name is a Veruska and I am originally from Venezuela. When I came to Canada many years ago, I enrolled in the English as a Second language program at Mohawk College and met many wonderful people from around the world. After years of working in a variety of employment I was looking for a change in my life. I saw an advertisement for a receptionist position with Affordable Immigration and Paralegal Support and applied for the position. I started working with Charlene and was introduced to the world of immigration and helping people visit, work, and immigrate to Canada.

I have enjoyed this field of work so much I am enrolled in the Immigration Practitioner program. I can proudly say that I graduated from Immigration Practitioner program with honours 2021. I am the Immigration Case Manager of AIPS, and I am passionate about what I do.

Veruska Rosas

Administrative Assistant- Fluent in Filipino and English

My name is Norbelita, and I am fluent in Filipino and English. I immigrated to Canada at a young age many years ago. It took me a lot of courage to migrate to Canada at a young age, but it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. This country has offered me many opportunities. I was able to immerse in its diverse community, acquire quality education, access free health care, find stability and growth just to name a few. Now, I am proud to be a part of a team that helps clients, and their families realize their dreams.

My background is in Accounts Payable. Five years ago, I decided it’s time to transition into a different career. I graduated from Mohawk College in the Office Administration – Legal program. I was fortunate to complete my placement at AIPS and to continue to be part of the team after graduation. As one of the first point of contact, I strive to be always helpful and responsive to clients.

My training at AIPS helped me discover a new purpose. Charlene’s enthusiasm is contagious. She is a great motivation and an inspiration. She helped me discover a new passion. Mariana Moreno
Paralegal Candidate – Fluent in Spanish and English

Mariana is a Latin-Canadian Paralegal Candidate who is fluent in both Spanish and English.
As a graduate from the Paralegal program at Mohawk College, Mariana is equipped with a firm foundation specializing in areas such as legal research, drafting, file management and advocacy.
She completed her placement with us at AIPS, and has gone on to become a member of our team. Her passion is centred around working towards endorsing and supporting her client’s rights and dreams.

Mariana has a background in work with vulnerable populations as she previously graduated as a Child & Youth Worker from Mohawk College. Through this work, she discovered her true passion for advocacy, community outreach and the justice system. She then decided to return to school in order to pursue this calling.

Immigration has always been an area of special interest for her. She continues to feel personally connected to this legal stream through her own life experiences as a first-generation Canadian from a Colombian family.
